5 Natural mask recipes to get rid of fine hairs

Annoyed by a thin mustache on your lips? Or don't you like your hairy legs? Waxing or shaving can indeed be a solution. But did you know that there are some natural masks that you can make yourself at home to help get rid of fine hairs on your face and on your body?

1. Lemon sugar mask for face



Mix sugar with a little water and lemon juice, then mix well as a natural scrub which is also useful for whitening the face. Lemon juice acts as a whitening agent for your facial hair. The combination of these three ingredients will make it easier for you to remove fine hairs not only on your face but also all over your body. Do not apply this mask on sensitive areas.



What you will need:

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 10 tablespoons water
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Bowl for container


How:

  • Dissolve sugar with water in a bowl
  • Then, add lemon juice to the bowl and mix well
  • Apply the lemon mixture on your face following the hair growth path
  • Rinse with clean water after leaving it for 20 minutes
  • Rubbing the dough gently with your hands
  • Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a week for best results


2. Sugar, honey, a lemon mask for hand and foot hair


Sugar, honey, and lemon masks are all-natural waxes that are good for removing fine hair on your body. This home treatment will be a little painful, as the properties of this mask are similar to the wax commonly used in beauty salons to remove the fine hairs on your hands and feet.


What you will need:

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Water if necessary (to help dissolve the mask)
  • 1-2 teaspoons cornstarch, or all-purpose flour
  • Clean used cloth or waxing strips
  • A spatula or butter knife for kneading the dough


How:

  • Mix and mix sugar, lemon juice, and honey in a small bowl
  • Warm the mask mixture for 3 minutes in the microwave to thin the mask
  • If the dough still looks very thick, pour in a little water and mix well. Let the mask mixture sit for a moment at room temperature
  • Clean the area of ​​skin to be waxed and sprinkle a little cornstarch
  • Take a small amount of dough with a spatula and apply the dough mask to the desired skin area
  • Apply the mask in the direction of fine hair growth, and cover the area with an old cloth or waxing strip. Press until the cloth sticks to the mask mixture
  • Pull the fabric in the opposite direction of the hair growth groove. This step is effective for removing fine hair on your body

3. Egg mask for face


The consistency and sticky texture of the egg whites are similar to the honey mask above. When drying, the egg mask is easy to pull off and brings out fine hairs from the face. It works similarly to wax products and will make this mask feel a little sore when you remove it.


What you will need:

  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Bowl for container


How:

  • Crack an egg and take only the egg white. You can store egg yolks in the refrigerator for other purposes
  • Add cornstarch and sugar, mix well until it becomes a thick paste
  • Apply the mask all over your face and let it dry for 20-25 minutes. The mask will look hard on your face when it is completely dry.
  • Scrub the mask vigorously using a circular motion to make it easier to remove the hair
  • Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a week for best results

4. Papaya mask

Papaya mask is suitable for all facial skin types, including sensitive facial skin. Unripe papayas contain an enzyme called "papain" which can help minimize the growth of fine hair by breaking down the follicles where hair grows. This home treatment is also useful as a natural exfoliator that can remove dead skin cells to restore skin elasticity. There are two choices of ways to use a raw papaya as a mask.


Mask 1: Papaya and turmeric



How:

  • Peel raw papaya and cut into small pieces
  • Mash the papaya until it becomes a coarse dough
  • Take 2 tbsp of mashed papaya mixture and mix it with 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder. Stir well.
  • Apply the mask on the face or other body part as desired
  • Gently massage the skin that has been coated with the mask for 15-20 minutes, then rinse it off with water
  • Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a week for best results


Mask 2: Papaya and aloe vera

What you will need:

  • 1 tbsp mashed papaya
  • 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel
  • 1 tablespoon mustard oil
  • 1/4 tbsp Gram flour (besan; ground green beans flour)
  • 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2 drops of any essential oil
  • Clean used cloth
  • Your own body lotion, or 1 tsp olive oil


How:

  • Mix mashed papaya, Gram flour, aloe vera gel, and turmeric powder, mustard oil, and essential oil. Stir well until it becomes a thick mask
  • Apply the mask to the desired body part, in reverse of the hair growth path
  • Cover the area with an old cloth or waxing strip. Press until the cloth sticks to the mask mixture. Pull the fabric in the opposite direction of the hair growth groove
  • Massage the part of the body that is now free of fine hair with olive oil, essential oil, or moisturizing lotion
  • Routinely repeat the procedure 3-4 times a week for 3 months for best results

5. Turmeric

Turmeric has been used for generations to treat various skin problems. Besides having antibacterial and antiseptic properties, turmeric also works to inhibit hair growth. Turmeric masks are an easy but effective method for hair removal. Turmeric is also commonly used in various other versions to remove thick and strong body hair.


For fine white fur:

  • Mix 1-2 teaspoons of turmeric powder, or as needed, with rose water, milk, or plain water to make a thin mask.
  • Apply on the desired body part. Let the mask dry
  • Rinse it off with warm water after 20 minutes
  • For thick, black fur/hair:
  • Make a thick mask from a mixture of turmeric powder, Gram flour, wheat flour, or rice flour, and milk
  • Apply on the desired body part. Let the mask dry
  • Rinse it off with warm water after 20 minutes
